This information was reported to Ukrayinska Pravda (UP) by an informed source.
This means that the creation of a coalition including BYuT, “Our Ukraine”, and the Socialist party (SPU), would be announced in the Parliament on Wednesday.
According to the source, [the negotiators] “reached an agreement in principle about office sharing issues; [they] agreed on their [common] logic.”
In the morning on Wednesday, the factions will gather signatures of the deputies under the coalition agreement as a final step. The coalition will be formally announced during the first half of the day.
The coalition agreement itself will be printed out in three original copies. Each page of the text, including the agenda, should be certified by signatures [of the deputies.]
Iryna Herashchenko, press secretary of the President, informed UP that, during the meeting, the sides “came face to face with office sharing issues;” however, she did not provide details about this information and pointed out that [she] was not personally present in the meeting.
According to the source, the sides agreed that the Prime Minister would be nominated by BYuT, the Speaker will be nominated by “Our Ukraine,” and the First Deputy Speaker will be nominated by SPU.
A counterpart of UP did not answer to questions about what has changed in the positions of the sides and what were additional conditions on which the future coalition will be based on.
As it has been reported earlier, Julia Tymoshenko is seeking a position of the Prime Minister. According to UP, she called on a [urgent] meeting of the council of [her] Block for 10 p.m.
As of 9.00 p.m., SPU continued a meeting of its political council.
