The Lytvyn Bloc leader calls for viewing Yulia Tymoshenko’s premiership as “an objective reality”.
He assessed the voting on Mrs. Tymoshenko as flawless although the definition of a “roll-call voting procedure” is not clear.
“One interprets the Parliamentary Rules of Procedure at random but this is the Verkovna Rada’s decision.”
Mr. Lytvyn added that his faction decided to abstain from voting for Mrs. Tymoshenko’s premiership thus “cementing the democratic coalition”.
“If our faction had voted, three or four coalition members would have abstained from voting. Therefore, this would not have confirmed existence of the actual coalition.”
Mr. Lytvyn expects that the coalition will be tested during the voting on the Cabinet of Ministers because there are few offices but many aspirants.
