The Cabinet of Ministers has increased margin price for natural gas for industrial consumers, budget organizations and to those equated to them by 29,82% or for UAH 214,7 for one thousand cubic meters to UAH 934,7 for one thousand cubic meters starting from 2008.
It was stated in Cabinet of Minister’s decree dated December 19, as reported by Obkom with reference to Ukrayinski Novyny.
The price was established without VAT, purpose extra pay, transportation and supply tariffs, and storage costs.
In 2007 it will amount to UAH 720 for one thousand cubic meters.
Margin price was increased due to cost increase of imported natural gas in 2008 for Ukraine at the border with Russia by 38,08% to USD 179,5 for one thousand cubic meters.
Exclusive gas importer for industrial consumers is joint enterprise ‘UkrGaz-Energo.’
Thus, gas margin price for public heat-and-power engineering enterprises is still invariable, i.e. UAH 686 for one thousand cubic meters (VAT, purpose extra pay, transportation and supply tariffs, and storage costs included.)
