Party of Regions leader Viktor Yanukovych claims that the former anti-crisis coalition failed to fulfill the Constitutional Court’s (CC’s) decision regarding renewal of 47 budget social items because of the former coalition’s activity.
“We could not fulfill the decision because of the Verkhovna Rada’s dissolution.”
He also criticized Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko’s accusations of the opposition’s refusal to support the amended 2008 State Budget.
“Let the Tymoshenko government stop talking and show its effectiveness,” added Mr. Yanukovych.
Earlier, the CC renewed 47 social items of the 2007 State Budget regarding granting benefits, compensations and social safeguards for certain groups of citizens.
