Almost 41,000 Ukrainian Servicemen Have Signed Contracts with the Army in 2016
In 2016, 40,800 servicemen have already signed the contracts to serve in the Ukrainian Army, spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense lieutenant colonel Oleksiy Chernobay said during the press briefing on Tuesday, July 26, Interfax Ukraine reports. About 4,500 of them are officers.
In mid-July, Verkhovna Rada allowed the servicemen who signed the contracts at the beginning of the ATO "until the end of the special period" to terminate their contracts.
