Lozhkin ‘To Leave Presidential Administration’

Presidential Administration (AP) Chief Boris Lozhkin is about to resign, sources in the AP and close associates of the President told Ukrayinska Pravda.

"He made the final decision to resign. He is tired," the interlocutor said. "He wants to deliver, but it appears that nobody expects it here," he added.

According to the source, Lozhkin wants to leave before the new ‘political season’ starts – probably, next week.

The sources also claim that some ten candidacies are being considered to replace Lozhkin. The most feasible are the AP Deputy Chief Vitalii Kovalchuk, Deputy Chief Kostiantyn Yelisyeyev and Ukraine’s Ambassador to the U.S. Valeriy Chaly.

As of Thursday night, Chaly was believed to be the top candidate, but he did not agree to this offer so far.
