ORDLO Confirms Keeping 47 Hostages

The ORDLO militants confirmed that they continue detaining 42 hostages in Donetsk and five in Luhansk, First Vice Chairwoman of the Parliament and Ukraine’s representative in Trilateral Contact Group Iryna Herashchenko informed.

"We had hard time extracting information from them on where our fellows are kept," she specified and told that the militants finally confirmed their whereabouts in the place where they have been recently attended by the UN human rights mission.

"This is one of the colonies is Makiivka. Some of them are detained incommunicado," Herashchenko stressed.

She informed earlier that upon the findings of a meeting in Minsk Ukraine requested to free 107 captives. Ukraine also called on to stop fire on the contact line in Donbas by September 1 and create additional mechanisms within the Trilateral Contact Group to provide regulation to Donbas crisis.
