Details: According to Ukrainska Pravda’s sources, Dudin was informed of suspicion of treason.

Press office of the State Bureau of Investigations replied to Ukrainska Pravda and confirmed the information that Dudin has been detained and notified of suspicion. The details are to be revealed on 12 September.

Previously: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy fired Roman Dudin for negligent performance of his duties on 29 May, and promised that law enforcement officers would investigate his case.

Zelenskyy said that he fired Dudin "for selfishly caring only about his own interests rather than working to defend the city from the first days of the full-scale war".

On 19 July, Oleksandr Kuts was appointed the head of the Security Service of Ukraine in Kharkiv Oblast.
