Quote: "The enemy, suffering persistent counterattacks carried out by our units, pulled up and unloaded 27 BMP-1infantry fighting vehicles on the railway, 40 km from Kherson.

The desperate ruscists’ [Russians’ - ed.] attempt to restore their lost positions near Mykolaivka in the Kherson region failed. They then carried out two air strikes on our positions. There were no losses. Two people were injured as a result of the massive shelling of Novovorontsovka."

Details: Mykolaiv has been fired on three times during the day: in the morning by multiple rocket launchers, in the afternoon and in the evening by heavy barrel artillery. Two high-rise buildings, four private residential buildings and commercial facilities have been damaged. Water and gas pipelines have been affected. No gas leaks or threat to the residents have been reported.

One person died on the spot as a result of the aggressors’ shelling, and another person was hospitalised. However, the victim's life could not be saved. Two more people have been reported injured.

Projectiles hit industrial warehouses during the evening shelling of the regional centre, and a massive fire broke out. Rescue crews have extinguished the fire. No casualties have been reported.

A Russian Orlan-10 was shot down by a precision strike as it was attempting to carry out air reconnaissance in the Mykolaiv region.

Overall, based on the results of Ukrainian missile and artillery units and Air Force aircraft performing firing missions and airstrikes, preliminary Russian losses amount to: 24 military personnel, a T-72 tank, 4 Msta-B 152 mm howitzers, and 4 armoured and motor vehicles.

Two missile-carrying vessels and five large landing craft belonging to the aggressors continue to carry out tasks in the Black Sea aimed at blockading the region, shipping and port operations. The threat of both missile strikes and landing by the Russian assault force remains.
