Russia hits Ukraine’s energy infrastructure again: explosions heard in Kyiv, air defence deployed in Brovary

UKRAINSKA PRAVDATUESDAY, 18 OCTOBER 2022, 09:18 

Russian forces have carried out another attack on energy infrastructure in Kyiv, while at the same time, air defence units are operating in Brovary, near the capital.

Details: Residents of Kyiv heard an explosion on the left bank of the city and a rumble in the skies at about 09:00. 

Some districts have been left without electricity.

Quote from Tymoshenko: "Preliminary reports indicate that there were three strikes on an energy infrastructure facility on the left bank of the city."

Quote from Klychko: "There were explosions again in Kyiv this morning. In the Desnianskyi District. A critical infrastructure facility [was hit]. All services are heading to the scene. More detailed information [will be provided] later."

Quote from Sapozhko: "Explosions can be heard in Brovary. Air defence units have been deployed."

Details: Russian troops once again attacked the energy infrastructure of Ukraine on the morning of 18 October. There are strikes in Dnipro, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia and Zhytomyr. Some of those cities have been left without electricity or they are experiencing shortages of electricity supply.
