Russia loses 1,390 soldiers and 13 tanks over past day

Russia has lost 1,390 soldiers killed and wounded, nine tanks and 67 artillery systems over the past day.

Quote: "Due to the constant receipt of updated intelligence data, it became necessary to adjust some of the figures for total enemy losses – tactical and strategic UAVs and cruise missiles. The total figure has been adjusted and daily losses are presented as usual."

Details: The total combat losses of the Russian forces between 24 February 2022 and 5 April 2025 are estimated to be as follows [figures in parentheses represent the latest losses – ed.]:

• approximately 922,340 (+1,390) military personnel;
• 10,541 (+13) tanks;
• 21,952 (+20) armoured combat vehicles;
• 25,730 (+67) artillery systems;
• 1,350 (+1) multiple-launch rocket systems;
• 1,124 (+1) air defence systems;
• 370 (+0) fixed-wing aircraft;
• 335 (+0) helicopters;
• 31,778 (+105) tactical and strategic UAVs;
• 3,130 (+0) cruise missiles;
• 28 (+0) ships/boats;
• 1 (+0) submarine;
• 42,954 (+113) vehicles and fuel tankers;
• 3,788 (+1) special vehicles and other equipment.
