Russians hit energy facility in Chernihiv Oblast: Ukraine's railway operator alters train routes via Nizhyn
Russian forces have attacked an energy facility in the Nizhyn district of Chernihiv Oblast, leaving 4,500 consumers without electricity.

Quote from Chernihivoblenergo: "The Nizhyn district is under attack again, with a new strike hitting an energy facility. Over 4,500 consumers are without power supply."
Details: Power engineers said that repair efforts are underway and stressed the need to maintain information silence.
Meanwhile, Ukrzaliznytsia reported disruptions to train services in the Nizhyn district.
As a result, the following trains will run on altered routes:
No. 46 Uzhhorod – Kharkiv; No. 113 Kharkiv – Lviv; No. 786 Kyiv – Tereshchenska; No. 116 Kyiv – Sumy; No. 779 Sumy – Kyiv; No. 787 Tereshchenska – Kyiv.
Trains No. 143/144 Sumy – Lviv and No. 45/46 Uzhhorod – Kharkiv are delayed by two hours.
On 8 October, the following trains will be temporarily suspended: No. 6901 Nosivka – Kyiv (Pivnichna); No. 6903 Nizhyn – Kyiv-Volynskyi; No. 6907 Nizhyn – Kyiv (Pivnichna); No. 6909 Nizhyn – Kyiv (Pivnichna); and No. 6674 Nemishaieve – Sviatoshyn.
Regional services will also run on altered routes: No. 895 Konotop – Fastiv; No. 892/891 Fastiv – Slavutych.
