Russia attacks Ukraine with ballistic missile and 128 drones: 14 locations hit

Russian forces attacked Ukraine on the night of 19-20 February using an Iskander-M ballistic missile and 128 Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas and other types of drones. Ukrainian air defence forces have managed to destroy or jam 107 UAVs.

Details: The ballistic missile was fired from Russia's Rostov Oblast.

The drones were launched from the Russian cities of Bryansk, Kursk, Oryol, Shatalovo and Primorsko-Akhtarsk as well as from the temporarily occupied parts of Donetsk Oblast. About 80 of the UAVs were Shahed loitering munitions.

Hits by 1 ballistic missile and 21 UAVs were recorded at 14 locations and the fall of downed aerial assets (debris) at 1 location.

Aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare assets, unmanned systems units and mobile fire groups from Ukraine's defence forces were involved in repelling the attack.
