Russians attack gas facilities in Kharkiv and Chernihiv oblasts for two consecutive days

Russian forces have been continuously attacking gas storage sites and production facilities belonging to Naftogaz Group, Ukraine's largest national oil and gas company, in Kharkiv and Chernihiv oblasts for two days.

Details: In total, Russian forces used about 60 attack drones.

"There is damage. As soon as the security situation allows, the company's specialists, together with units of the State Emergency Service, will assess the consequences and begin eliminating them," said Serhii Koretskyi, CEO of Naftogaz Group.

Background: Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russia has carried out 401 attacks on the infrastructure of Naftogaz Group. In 2025 alone, 229 attacks were recorded – more than in the previous three years combined.
