Russian strike damages Albanian ambassador's residence in Kyiv
The residence of Albania's ambassador to Ukraine, Ernal Filo, was damaged during a Russian attack on Kyiv. In response, Tirana has summoned Russia's ambassador for explanations.

Details: Hoxha condemned the large-scale Russian attack on civilian targets in Ukraine on 24 May.
He noted that the Russian strike, which damaged the residential complex where Albania's ambassador in Kyiv lives, put the diplomat's life at risk.
Quote: "This is unacceptable! Targeting or endangering civilian areas and diplomatic personnel represents a grave escalation and another stark reminder of the human cost of Russia's continued aggression."
Details: Hoxha called on Russia to stop its attacks on civilian targets in Ukraine and bring its illegal war to an end.
"Albania will continue to stand firmly with Ukraine and reiterates its unwavering support for Ukraine's sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity. Those responsible for these attacks must be held accountable," he said.
Albania's Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs summoned Russia's ambassador in Tirana to provide explanations.
