Ukraine strikes pumping station supplying fuel to Moscow Oblast

Drone operators from Special Group Alpha of the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) have struck the Vtorovo oil pipeline control station in Russia's Vladimir Oblast.

Details: The SSU said the facility supplies fuel to major oil depots around Moscow, as well as Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo and Vnukovo airports.

The drone attack caused a large fire at the site, covering an area of 800 sq m.

Background: On the night of 23-24 May, Ukraine's defence forces struck a number of Russian military facilities, including the oil-loading berth of the Tamanneftegaz oil terminal in Russia's Krasnodar Krai.
