Zelenskyy signs Drone Deal with new Latvian prime minister
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held his first meeting with Latvia's new Prime Minister Andris Kulbergs during a visit to Estonia for a summit of the Nordic-Baltic Eight, where a so-called Drone Deal was signed.

Details: Zelenskyy said Ukraine and Latvia have signed an agreement on drones during his meeting with Kulbergs.
Quote: "These are concrete things to strengthen our joint defence and co-production, and, importantly, this also means Ukraine's expertise and experience helping to strengthen our partners. This is exactly the kind of systemic cooperation we are building with those who have consistently supported us throughout all the years of Russia's war."
More details: Zelenskyy added that the meeting also covered Ukraine's air defence needs. The parties also discussed sanctions pressure on Russia, including tougher sanctions against Russia's shadow fleet.

Background:
- Before this, Zelenskyy had a meeting with Estonian President Alar Karis.
- At a press conference during the visit, Zelenskyy said Ukraine can send expert teams to the Baltic states to help them defend against stray drones.
- Karis, for his part, spoke in favour of opening all negotiating clusters in Ukraine's EU accession talks as soon as possible.
