Powerful explosion near Belgorod: Ukraine's General Staff confirms strike on Russian ammunition depot
Ukraine's defence forces have struck an ammunition depot in Russia's Belgorod Oblast and Russian command posts.

Details: The General Staff said units of Ukraine's defence forces struck a number of Russian forces' facilities on 8 June and on the night of 8-9 June.
An ammunition depot near the settlement of Prokhorovka in Russia's Belgorod Oblast was hit. Russian social media users reported a powerful explosion there the day before.
Ukrainian forces also hit Russian command posts near the settlements of Mykilske and Shevchenko Pershe in Donetsk Oblast, as well as near Naumovka in Belgorod Oblast and Iskra in Kursk Oblast, Russia.
Russian UAV command posts were struck near Shevchenko Pershe in Donetsk Oblast, Zaliznychne in Zaporizhzhia Oblast and Oleshky in Kherson Oblast.
A Russian logistics hub near the settlement of Fedorivka in Donetsk Oblast was hit, as were materiel depots near Mykhailivka in Luhansk Oblast and Hiunivka in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine struck concentrations of Russian military personnel near the settlements of Kurakhove, Kalynove, Shevchenko and Stupochky in Donetsk Oblast, Novohryhorivka in Zaporizhzhia Oblast and Iskra in Kursk Oblast, Russia.
The General Staff also said updated information had confirmed that eight fuel storage tanks were destroyed and nine others damaged near the port of Mariupol in Donetsk Oblast on 5 June.
