NBU Loans Two Banks ₴760 Million for Refinancing

On Wednesday, July 20, the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) gave two banks ₴760.3 million for refinancing, the NBU press service reports. The names of the banks were not disclosed.

"On July 20, the NBU held another quantitative tender for bank refinancing, satisfying the requests of two banks for a total amount of ₴760.3 million provided at 18.5% annual interest rate," the message says.

By the time trading was closed on July 20, the rate of the hryvnia to the dollar on the interbank foreign exchange market stood at 24.79-24.81.
