On 15 July, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Andriy Parubiy closed current session of the Parliament. Next week, MPs will work in committees. The next Parliamentary session starts on September 6.

Parubiy commended the performance of the current Parliament. "The Ukrainian Parliament proved we have the capacity to destroy longstanding fraudulent schemes and approve the laws that MPs of previous convocations failed to do," he stressed.

He also noted that MPs could promptly gather 150 signatures to convene an extraordinary session if necessary.
