Representatives of the unrecognized "people’s republic" in Donetsk oblast turned down a Ukrainian offer of a prisoner exchange, the representative of Ukraine in the humanitarian subgroup MP Iryna Herashchenko reported on her Facebook after receiving the militants’ reply letter through the OSCE.

Herashchenko says the militants refuse to release 25 Ukrainian hostages in exchange for 50 people held by the Ukrainian side and demand an ‘all for all’ exchange. At the same time, she says that the list for an ‘all for all’ exchange includes 600 people and the Ukrainian side currently "doesn’t know who these people are and where they are."

Herashchenko says that Ukraine is ready for compromises, but looking for people requires time and when the unrecognized republics turn down all proposals "this is real terrorism".
