Kuchma’s Press Secretary: Kyiv Not Blind to Ceasefire Violations

The Ukrainian side is constantly raising the issue of violation of the ceasefire and calls on Russia to adhere to the Minsk Agreements during the meetings of the Trilateral contact group, the press secretary of the former president Leonid Kuchma Darka Olifer says.

"In addition, Ukraine constantly brings the attention of the world to the fact that the first provision of the Minsk Agreements [namely, a ceasefire] is not being fulfilled," she added.

The First Deputy Head of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine Alexander Hug said in an interview to German ARD earlier that during the meetings in Minsk the sides of the contact group "never raised the issues of violations of the ceasefire."
