On 1 May Russian troops shelled high-rise apartment buildings in Orikhove, Zaporizhzhia Region, killing 2 civilians.

According to Lavrov: "He [President Zelenskyy] put forward an argument that because he is a Jew, there can be no talk about the ‘nazification’ of Ukraine. I might be mistaken, but Hitler also had Jewish blood. This means absolutely nothing.

Wise Jewish people say that Jews are traditionally the most vehement anti-Semites. ‘There’s a rotten apple in every barrel,’ as we say."

Details: Lavrov claimed that there is evidence supporting the idea that "Americans and Canadians have played a pivotal part in training the ultra radical, openly neo-nazi units in Ukraine."

According to Lapid: "Foreign Minister Lavrov’s remarks are both an unforgivable and outrageous statement and a terrible historical error.

The Jews did not murder themselves in the Holocaust. The lowest level of racism against the Jews is to accuse the Jews themselves of anti-Semitism."
