Syniehubov’s quote: "Now people are asking us about Staryi Saltiv. It is not possible to go there yet, because there is shelling there."

"We are not sending evacuation buses there in an organised way. We planned it for yesterday, for today, but the military situation does not allow us to do that."

Details: The Head of the Regional Military Administration has not commented on the question of whether certain settlements in the Kharkiv region are controlled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to him, fighting is continuing around settlements near Staryi Saltiv.

"Getting control of a settlement is 30% [of the job.]. Another 70%  is keeping it and holding positions with our guys [Ukrainian Armed Forces]. We can't say at this point whether this settlement is ours or not," Syniehubov said.

According to Viktor Zabashta, director of the Emergency Medical Centre, two ambulance workers came under fire in Staryi Saltov on 4 May.

"Two employees of the centre got out of the ambulance station with the help of volunteers, they were probably rescuing some property from there, but the car was significantly damaged this morning. The photos they provided show that the car is not possible to use," said Zabashta.

Background: On 1 May, Syniehubov reported that the Russians had suffered heavy losses near the village of Staryi Saltiv.
