The death toll has risen to 8 civilians following a Russian missile strike on a multi-storey apartment building in Mykolaiv.

Quote: "At 22:55 [on 30 June - ed], a man’s body was found under the rubble on the staircase during the rescue and search operation.

This brings the death toll as a result of this emergency situation to eight civilians; another six civilians sustained injuries."

Earlier: Blasts were heard in the city of Mykolaiv on the morning of 29 June: Russian forces hit a high-rise apartment building. At the time, authorities reported that four civilians had been killed and five injured.

On Thursday, 30 June the death toll of the Russian missile attack on the multi-storey apartment building in Mykolaiv rose to seven people.
