Electrician dies upon stepping on occupiers' tripwire in liberated Balakliia – city council

The Balakliia City Council reported the death of an electrician of the Kupiansk high-voltage power line service, who was blown up on a tripwire while restoring the operation of power facilities.

Details: He was blown up on a tripwire that Russian invaders had left while they were withdrawing their troops during the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Previously: President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that during the occupation of Izium and Balaklia in Kharkiv Oblast, Russians had behaved the same way they did in Kyiv Oblast early in the war: they tortured residents and destroyed kindergartens and schools, as well as other infrastructure.
