Details: Law enforcement officers confirm that the activity of the business is connected to mining and processing granite.

The Security Service of Ukraine reported that Saldo used the profit for "financing actions aimed at altering the borders of the territory of Ukraine and [for] the war against our country".

The list of property seized includes bank accounts of the enterprise and five items of special equipment for mining fossil fuels with an estimated cost of over 6 million hryvnias [roughly US$162,500].

The transfer of assets to the Asset Search and Management Agency is being considered.

Note: Saldo was the mayor of Kherson from 2002 to 2012 (three terms of office), a member of Parliament for the "Partiia Rehioniv" political party in the 7th Verkhovna Rada. He has been acting in support of the occupation of Kherson since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.
