Power supply is partially missing in 2 districts in Kyiv Oblast

There is a partial power outage in Bucha and Vyshhorod districts in Kyiv Oblast due to the Russian missile attack on 2 January.

Quote: "Kyiv Oblast: there is a partial power outage in Bucha and Vyshhorod districts due to the attack by the Russian occupiers," the message reads.

DTEK adds that as soon as the security situation allows, power engineers will start restoring the electricity supply.

Background:

  • A gas pipe was damaged in Podilskyi district of Kyiv as a result of a large-scale missile attack by the Russians on 2 January.
  • Some houses in the Shevchenkivskyi, Sviatoshynskyi, Holosiivskyi, Podilskyi and Obolonskyi districts of Kyiv are without electricity due to the Russian missile attack on the morning of 2 January.
