Monday, 27 June 2016, 05:43

A group of nine people reportedly beat up a former fighter from Ukraine’s 93rd brigade in Horishni Plavni (former Komsomolsk), allegedly for participating in the ATO, according to volunteer Kseniya Bykova’s report on Facebook [ed.: this Facebook post is in the Russian language].

She said the man was attacked by a group of four men and five women, allegedly for having fought in the ATO, who beat and later choked him. Bykova also noted that the police did not want to register his complaint until the man threatened to escalate his complaint to the SBU. She is asking for the support of the media to bring the attackers to responsibility and calls what happened ‘everyday separatism.’
