Ukrainian Police ‘Arrest Russian Crime Boss’

Ukraine’s National Police arrested Russian crime boss ‘Tolik Noginsky’ who came to Ukraine to ‘destabilize’ the country, according to a statement issued on Monday, July 18.

"On July 18, National police officers together with the Border Guard Service officers arrested a 32-year-old citizen of the Russian Federation. The young man has a status of a ‘crime boss’ that he received in 2014 in Turkey. In the Russian Federation, he has a conviction for illegal possession of weapons," the statement says.

According to the law enforcement, ‘Tolik Noginsky’ belongs to the influential clan of ‘Shakro Jr’. He is the tenth crime boss arrested in Ukraine since the beginning of 2016. The State Border Guard service banned him from entering Ukraine until 2019.

The Head of the National Police Khatia Dekanoidze said earlier that influential crime bosses may get involved in politics and make arrangements with politicians in order to represent the interests of the Russian secret services.
