Russia ‘Using Aerostat on Border with Crimea’

Saturday, 23 July 2016, 13:02

The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine claims that "Russian occupiers are using an aerostat on the administrative border with Crimea," allegedly for video surveillance.

The device was identified near Henichesk (Berdiansk rayon, Zaporizhka Oblast). It was soaring above Crimea, 1 km from the administrative border with Ukraine’s mainland. As border guard officers made air reconnaissance, they allegedly identified a video camera on the aerostat. It is believed to be controlled remotely.
