Russian Authorities Again Searching Homes of Crimean Tatars

Russian law enforcement officers are searching the home of Crimean Tatar Refat Mazalov, the Head of the Election Commission of Qurultay Zair Smedlyayev [Zair Smedlâyev] reports.

"There is a search at the house of Refat Mazalov at 6 Finadlar Str., Bakhchysarai. Armed people in balaclavas on a special vehicle have circled the territory," he adds.

According to the information on the Facebook page Crimean Political Prisoners, "Mazalov was taken to Bakhchysarai police station, without any explanation."

The arrest was filmed, but the law enforcement officers demanded that the video be deleted.
