Poroshenko Dismissed Controversial Ambassador to Czech Republic

President Petro Poroshenko dismissed the ambassador of Ukraine to the Czech Republic Borys Zaichuk, the corresponding decree #335/2016 dated August 19, 2016 states.

Czech media reported earlier that the Ukrainian embassy in Czech Republic is making attempts to free from prison a former Yanukovych advisor accused of collaborating with terrorists.

Ambassador Zaichuk was reportedly ready to post bail for him. The ambassador later wrote a letter of resignation.
