Russian losses in the East Ukraine in a day: 54 troops and 5 tanks

During the day, Armed Forces of Ukraine repulsed three attacks of Russian troops in the region of the operational and tactical group ‘Shid’ (‘East’ -ed.).

Details: Numerous attempts of Russian troops to break through the defences of Ukrainian forces failed. On 22 March occupants attacked Ukrainian positions three times.
Russian losses:
- military personnel – 54 persons,
- tanks – 5 pcs (destroyed – 3 pcs, damaged – 2 pcs),
- self-propelled artillery unit – 1 pc,
- automotive equipment – 5 pcs,
- planes – 2 pcs,
- tactical drones – 2 pcs,
- special equipment – 1 pc,
- infantry fighting vehicle (BMP-3), captured – 3 pcs.
Quote: "The enemy is increasingly losing people and equipment. Occupants throw untrained and demoralised people into a battle.
