According to Ihnat: "21 April was a productive day for Ukraine’s Air Defence: 15 air targets were destroyed.

9 of them are Orlan-10 operational-tactical drones.

The Anti-aircraft Missile Forces of the Land Forces destroyed 6 such aircraft, the Airborne Assault Forces destroyed 2 more Orlans, and the Anti-aircraft Missile Forces of the Air Forces hit another UAV.

Almost at the same time, the Anti-aircraft Missile units of the Skhid Air Command of the Air Forces destroyed 2 Russian planes at once. According to preliminary information, these were Su-34 and Su-35 planes.

Assault troops downed an Su-25 fighter jet and an Mi-8 helicopter. Another Mi-8 was downed by the Marines.

Another piece of good news is that the National Guards of Ukraine downed an ‘Alligator,’ a Ruscist Ka-52 helicopter, thereby joining the effort to ‘demilitarise’ Russian aircraft and destroy the [Russian] fighter jets.

The Air Force aircraft continue to carry out special missions in Ukrainian airspace, to cover ground troops, and to inflict fire damage on the positions of the Russian occupying forces."

Details: On 21 April, 15 air targets were hit:

  • 3 planes (according to preliminary information, a Su-34, a Su-35, and a Su-25);
  • 3 helicopters (2 Mi-8 and 1 Ka-52);
  • 9 UAVs (Orlan-10).
