Luhansk Region: Russian troops shelled cities 10 times, battle for Orikhove underway

In Luhansk Region Sievierodonetsk, Lysychansk, Hirske, Pryvillia, and Popasna came under Russian fire on Thursday 28 April; fighting for Orikhiv continued.

Details: On 28 April Russian troops shelled Lysychansk 4 times and Popasna 2 times. Shelling of Hirske is almost uninterrupted.
Residential buildings and farming facilities were damaged in each of the cities.
For example, a fire that started in a garage facility spread across a significant area and took several hours to extinguish.
According to Haidai: "The enemy tried to storm the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Orikhove and Svitlychne several times.
Our troops rebuffed them, but the Russians are firing with all the weapons they have on cities and towns, destroying homes and infrastructure – it is already impossible to restore water, light, and gas there."
