Details: The incident took place on 4 April. The 32-year-old resident of the village of Hoholiv had made his way to the village of Ploske in search of his car.

According to the police: "The man ignored the law enforcement guidance and did not wait for the territory to be cleared. Instead he got into a car and went home. When he opened the car’s trunk in a yard, there was an explosion. The man received fatal injuries to the abdomen and pelvis. It turned out the car had been booby-trapped by the Russian military."

Significance: Security forces once again urged citizens returning to the territories liberated from the Russian occupying troops not to touch objects that have not yet been checked by specialists. "We advise you to return to your homes after the explosives technicians have carried out an inspection of roads and buildings. If you find suspicious objects, do not touch them, fence off the area, and call the special line, 102, immediately," the police said.
