Dnipro’s Territorial Defence Forces deny fake news about toxic heptyl leak in the region

Hennadii Korban, the head of the Dnipro Territorial Defence Centre, said that the information about a heptyl leak in the region is not true and is being spread by hostile sources. Heptyl is a component of rocket fuel that is dangerous for humans.

Quote from Korban: "I assure the residents of Dnipro that the information being spread by hostile sources is a fake and an outright lie. I also maintain that the Russian leadership did intend to commit a terrorist act in Dnipro on an unprecedented scale comparable to a nuclear disaster. However, the leadership of the oblast and the city took care of this problem in advance."

Details: He added that from the first ten days of March to the end of April, the oblast and city leadership had introduced unprecedented measures for the disposal of heptyl and its derivatives at the enterprises where this rocket fuel was stored. Accordingly, the attack on the Pivdennyi Machine-Building Plant did not lead to a leak.

Note: Heptyl is a component of rocket fuel that is extremely dangerous for humans, as it has an extremely low maximum permissible concentration. But that's not even the point. When it affects humans, it affects literally every human system: it is a carcinogen; it damages the immune system, the cardiovascular, lymphatic, nervous and gastrointestinal systems, the liver and the skin; and it causes reproductive disorders and birth defects. In fact, every part of the human body is affected by heptyl.
