100 Russian strikes in Sumy Oblast over past 24 hours

Three hromadas (amalgamated territorial communities) in Sumy Oblast were fired on seven times by Russian troops on Thursday, 18 August.

Details: On 18 August, the Russians fired on the hromadas of Bilopillia, Krasnopillia and Myropillia seven times. Nearly 100 strikes have been recorded.

There were no casualties reported. However, there were cases where property was destroyed.

The aggressors fired on Bilopillia hromada with tubed artillery from Russian Federation territory with 15 strikes. A non-residential building and school premises were damaged in the shelling. This attack took place at 09:30.

Mortar fire started at 19:55, with 10 strikes, and artillery shelling started at 20:00, with 20 strikes.

The invaders fired mortars on Krasnopillia hromada at 13:50, with 7 strikes.

The Russian forces fired using 120-mm mortars on Myropillia hromada at 14:20, causing 15 strikes. The attack continued at 17:30. Civilian infrastructure was damaged following the attack.
