Quote: "The invaders reported on the seizure of ‘Nazi’ [Ukrainian patriotic - ed.] literature from the libraries in the Melitopol district.

As part of this ‘action’, the [so-called] police seized all Ukrainian-language literature, and not just the books about the Anti-Terrorist Operation Zone [name used since 2014 for the temporarily occupied parts of eastern Ukraine - ed.]. In particular, the invaders are proud of having seized children's books, because they "distort" the history of Ukraine and impose the "Nazi values".

The Russians describe all of this as denazification, although it is the Nazis who are known for their war on books."

Details: The National Resistance Center notes that Ukraine will reclaim its territories and bring the Ukrainian books back to the libraries. However, during the operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to liberate the region, residents are urged to leave the region so as not to become a human shield for the occupiers.
