Kuleba said the conversation coincided with the latest large-scale Russian missile attack on Ukraine.

"We share the view that Russia bears full responsibility for its missile terror and its consequences on the territory of Ukraine, Poland and Moldova. I thanked the US for its crucial defence assistance and emphasised that deliveries of air defence systems to Ukraine need to be sped up. NASAMS have proved their efficiency already. I am also convinced that the time for Patriots has arrived," Kuleba tweeted.

Background: The seventh meeting in the Rammstein format took place on the evening of 16 November. US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said that at least six countries had announced further military assistance to Ukraine, including air defence systems.

Also, the White House has stated that regardless of whose missile it was that fell on Polish territory, the responsibility for this lies with Russia.
