Ukraine’s Commander-in-Chief discusses air defence needs with General Milley

Valerii Zaluzhnyi, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, had a telephone conversation with General Mark Milley, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the United States. Zaluzhnyi shared his assessment of the situation at the front with Milley.

Quote: "I have shared [with General Milley] the assessment of the situation on the front line and of the security risks caused by Russian missile strikes. I have conveyed our requests for weapons and equipment, and air defence and anti-missile systems. I gave assurances that, despite the harsh combat conditions, we are continuing the flight for our victory."
