Quote from Medvedev: "If it was not for the strategic nuclear arsenal, we would have been torn apart. An enormous country, a rich one, and everyone is looking and thinking how to grab something or divide it into parts, and then quietly pocket it.

And even though it sounds harsh, this largely deters hotheads, especially in non-friendly alliances, from making anti-Russia decisions. This is how it was, how it is, and how it will be."

Details: Medvedev has also stated that the Russian Federation obtained enough of all types of weapons and that he wrote posts for his Telegram channel himself.
