Number of Russian occupiers exceeds that of Ukrainian residents in Melitopol

Russian occupation forces are continuing to gather in the temporarily occupied city of Melitopol in Zaporizhzhia Oblast. The number of Russians in the city exceeds the number of local residents who have not yet fled the occupation.

Quote from Fedorov: "The number of foreign ‘tourists’ in Melitopol - Russians, Buryats, Ossetians and Kadyrovites - now exceeds that of the local residents, who are forced to remain under occupation."

Details: Fedorov said that occupation forces in Melitopol are moving into the homes of local residents who fled occupation, putting on civilian clothes and eavesdropping on conversations among the local residents. They are using school buses with signs that read "Children" and cars with Ukrainian number plates to move around the city.
