Attack on Dnipro: Death toll rises to 44 people

The death toll following the missile attack on a residential building in Dnipro on 14 January has risen to 44 people.

Background: 

  • On 14 January, the Russians hit an apartment building in Dnipro with a Kh-22 missile designed to destroy aircraft carrier groups at sea.
  • The authorities in Dnipro had announced three days of mourning in the city for those killed in a Russian missile strike on Saturday.
  • As of 10:00 a.m. on January 17, 41 people had been killed in the attack, including four children.
