Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the President of Ukraine, believes that the anti-corruption system in Ukraine is one of the most powerful in Europe.

Details: In particular, Zelenskyy mentioned the competition for the position of director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau, which should end in March. The president said that after that, the anti-corruption system in Ukraine will work "one hundred percent".

He also believes that the post-war society will not forgive the wrongdoers for any of their corrupt actions. 

Background: 

The tenure of Artem Sytnyk, the previous Director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau ended on 16 April, 2022. On 16 January, the Commission for the Selection of Candidates for the role after testing of general abilities left 22 candidates from 50 admitted to testing.

In January, Drago Kos, a member of the Committee said that the Director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau would be elected within two to three months.
