Russian forces attack Kharkiv, hitting the city centre

Oleh Syniehubov, Head of the Kharkiv Oblast Military Administration, reported that Russian forces launched a new attack on the city of Kharkiv and urged Kharkiv residents to remain in shelters.

Syniehubov later reported that Kharkiv city centre has been hit.

Quote from Syniehubov: "Enemy missiles have hit central Kharkiv. Early reports suggest between 6 and 10 S-300 missiles [targeted the city].

Information about casualties and the extent of destruction is being confirmed."

Details: Ihor Terekhov, Mayor of Kharkiv, reported that six Russian missiles hit Kharkiv.

Quote from Terekhov: "So far, we received confirmation that an industrial facility in Kharkiv’s Kyiv district has been hit. We also know that a fire broke out at the site of another strike."
