On Wednesday, Tatyana Moskalkova, the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Russian Federation, said that the mothers and wives of Ukrainian prisoners of war who were captured are turning to her with a request not to bring them back home."

Details: Lubinets reported that there have already been several cases in Ukraine when conscripted soldiers of the Russian army, captured by the Ukrainian army, refused to be exchanged and expressed a desire to remain in the territory controlled by Ukraine.

In addition, some Russian soldiers were even captured twice. According to Lubinets, these are, for example, Alexander Fomenko from Taganrog or Ruslan Vyalshin.

Lubinets emphasised that Ukraine has always adhered to the Geneva Conventions, unlike the Russian Federation, which regularly violates the norms of international law.
