Quote from Sunak: "When it comes to fighter combat air force, I have already said this: nothing is off the table. And the first step in being able to provide advanced aircraft is to have soldiers or aviators that are capable of using them."

Sunak has also added that training from scratch would take three years.

"This is not an option that we are planning because Ukraine already has trained fighter jet pilots. And we can prepare them for the aircraft that they will be using in the future."

Details: Sunak has said that another complicated aspect of sending fighter jets to Ukraine is the logistics needed to maintain them. All those issues are being talked through with the Ukrainians and allies.
