In the event of the capture of the region, the invaders promised their henchmen loyal treatment and leadership positions in the occupation administrations."

Details: The man was in constant contact with an officer of the FSB, who coordinated his activities.

The occupiers were interested in intelligence on the time and place of movement of military trains carrying Ukrainian Armed Forces’ weapons and ammunition.

Additionally, the Russian collaborator tried to give the coordinates of energy-generating companies in Kyiv to the occupiers.

It is reported that the officers of the Security Service of Ukraine worked ahead of time and promptly exposed the Russian agent who was detained in Chernihiv.

Smartphones that contained correspondence with a representative of the FSB were found in the man's possession.

The agent was notified that he was under suspicion under Art. 111.2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine [treason committed under martial law].

The issue of his pre-trial detention is being worked on.

The traitor faces up to 15 years in prison or life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
